Dear Member,
HRPBC is thrilled to announce the selection of one of its members for HR Florida’s Professional of the Year Award. On Monday, August 30, Dominique Cultrera, GPHR/PHR, was awarded for her dedication to advancing the HR Profession and for her continued efforts in serving the professional. Dominique is the Vice President of Human Resources for ScriptLogic Corporation in Boca Raton. ScriptLogic Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of Quest Software, is a recognized leader in the management, monitoring and support of desktops, servers and networks.
Many of you know Dominique through her volunteer service to HRPBC. She has served as the Communications Chair, Treasurer, President Elect, President, and is our immediate Past President. Dominique continuously strives for excellence in our Chapter as well as in her organization.
The HR Florida Professional of the Year Award is sponsored by Proskauer, also a local sponsor of HRPBC.

Congratulations HRPBC President Elect—Brian Altschuler, SPHR
At the July 2010 meeting, HRPBC held a special election to fill the newly created position of President Elect. Brian Altshuler was the sole nominee and unanimously approved by our members. Brian will succeed into the President role beginning January 1, 2011. Brian has served in various roles at HRPBC during the past four years and is a valuable member of the Leadership Team. Brian was also honored with HRPBC’s 2008 HR Professional of the year award.
For those of you who have not met Brian, he is the Executive Director of Human Resource Operations at Boca Raton Community Hospital. In addition to his core role in Human Resources, he is also responsible for the Center for Lifelong Learning’s focus on organizational advancement in the areas of clinical, performance, and leadership excellence.
Prior to joining BRCH, Brian played an integral role in leadership and staff development at both Palms West Hospital and Bethesda Healthcare System. Other career highlights include ten years with Marriott International in various operational and support positions. “Lifelong Learning" being one of Brian's core beliefs, he earned his Masters in Management with a focus on Leadership from Nova Southeastern University.
