HRPBC Membership Types
HRPBC is a 100% SHRM-affiliated chapter. Individuals seeking to join HRPBC must first join SHRM. You will need your SHRM-issued member number to complete the application process. If you are not yet a member of SHRM, please click here. To save $15 on your SHRM membership, use the promotional code CHSED.
Eligible individuals may become Professional, Associate or Student members upon submission of the appropriate application processing fee and approval by the Board of Directors.
To apply for membership, review the following membership categories and complete the appropriate on-line membership application form (preferred method). Submit the form with your credit card payment to cover the application fee along with any required documentation indicated. Or download the Membership Application here and mail to designated address with a check as form of payment. If applying for Professional Primary or Associate Primary a SHRM designation form must be attached when "mailing" in application and payment.
Once the application and payment are submitted, the application is reviewed by the Board of Directors. The Board reviews applications approximately twice monthly to confirm SHRM membership and to ensure the proper classification of membership (professional, associate, or student) before approval is granted.
All applicants for membership will receive written notification of the status of their membership application following the approval by the Board of Directors’.
